Being invited to the birth of Aubryn was a beautiful and intimate experience. We wanted to go a bit deeper into how it feels to anticipate the arrival of something so precious. Being with Mom and Dad as they prepared the nursery and felt the nervous silence within the room was truly heartfelt. Enjoy their journey from the stages of wonder, to a touching natural birth at Birthwise, to arriving at home for the first yawns and smiles. Life is precious and we are hear to tell the story. Welcome Aubryn.
Having an outdoor wedding is so freeing. The relaxing touches of nature just seem to make the day more romantic and whimsical. Andrea and Luke made great use of nature with their outdoor ceremony, cocktail lounge, lawn games and magical fireworks display! Luke and his groomsmen started their day with an early sunrise to hit the links. And we learned Luke is really good with his foot-wedge! It’s great to see “the guys” having some planned activities for the morning of the big day. The fun and relaxed feeling really does carry through the day. Thank you Andrea and Luke for making us feel like part of your family on your wedding day. It is always a pleasure to see so much love, laughing, and support.
Tori & Kate are magical friends we have had the honor of meeting last year as we filmed Tori’s sisters wedding in Cape Cod. To be asked back to film Tori and Kate’s wedding made us feel like part of their family (and it was fun being asked to be in a few pictures!). The love you feel when you are with them is something deep from the heart, something you won’t forget. When we film we are always focused on showing how in love a couple is but in this case we also felt their desire to be treated equally, to be recognized as wife & wife. Their choice for Vermont allowed this legal marriage and also brought them close to Tori’s proposal at the Burlington Airport. Feel their emotion, their love, and their caring family. Oh and keep an eye out for Kate’s drum solo!
When you’re the pastor of a local church and your 40th birthday is approaching it is safe to say a few surprises might be in the works for you! The Soto family wanted to share a special message with their dad during a surprise service in his honor.
We had a great time peeking in on this service and enjoying the laughs and happy tears! While short and sweet, this lifestyle film will become cherished to remember their children’s personalities at this stage in their lives.
Spending time in Door County is magical. The sights and sounds encompass everything we love people to feel in our art. And as we captured a cute little engagement story, being romantic and playful was just so natural for Nicole and Phil as it’s a place they’ve spent much of their time together. The fun thing with engagement films is we can just have fun with no constraints of time. And it’s a great time for our team to get to know a couple so we can better capture their personalities on their wedding day. Enjoy this cute keepsake!
We are so excited to see our wedding with Stasia & Carrie featured in Boston Magazine! To celebrate we thought we’d share their feature film! Besides a full blog post would be way too long to truly describe all the heart that went in to this beautiful day in Orleans, MA at the Winslow Estate. Cape Cod reminded us a lot of Door County and we felt right at home. Enjoy the ocean breeze, crashing waves, and the amazing vows that may change your heart.
Being part of something that makes a difference is so meaningful to our team. Being asked to tell the story of DIFFA/Chicago’s Garden Gala event on Michigan Avenue was incredible! DIFFA/Chicago (The Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS) helps to raise funds to provide care for people living with HIV/AIDS. Since being founded in 1984, DIFFA has mobilized the immense resources of the design communities to provide over $40 million to hundreds of AIDS organizations nationwide! To think think this all started with a single person’s idea. From the decorations, to the farm-to-table meal, to the amazing after party this was an amazing event with amazing people. Find your voice and make a noise!
As a dad of two little girls I (Jason) can certainly begin to see how fast current vivid memories can become hazy in a hurry. The more I think about what I want to remember it becomes clear it’s just the everyday things we do. So when our oldest, Finnley, agreed to get a summer haircut I thought we’d have a special time taking her to a real salon. She had high hopes of becoming Rupunzel and growing out her hair so this was a big deal to let go of that dream for now. I will always remember the simplicity of this day and just having fun with her. I invite you to take the time to capture simple moments in your life as they will turn out to be the important ones. We would love to hear from you on anyway our team can capture something you’d love to have forever.
There is something special about water that pulls all of us to it. Hearing the crash of ocean waves somehow provides comfort and energy to our souls. The sights and sounds of Lindsay & Tyler’s beach wedding on Sanibel Island, FL felt as simple and carefree as a day just being in love. Here’s a quick peek, enjoy!
